چکیده

Recent research has shown that VEGF may influence the condition and survival of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), including those treated dialysis procedures. Identifying value this factor is important to uncover mechanisms CKD progression improve treatment strategies.
The present study aimed determine mean serum levels vascular endothelial growth (VEGF) its receptor (VEGF-R) their correlations pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, MCP-1, IL -6, -8) in stratified by modality Carnivit use.
Methods. In prospective cohort study, VEGF, VEGF-R, proinflammatory were determined 41 hemodialysis (HD) (group 1) 14 peritoneal (PD) 2), 28 whom Carnivit. assay was performed enzyme immunoassay "SunRise TouchScreen" using IBL International (Germany) test systems. limits normal values (reference range) based on results a 20 conditionally healthy individuals.
Results. All included had significantly higher compared donors (p=0.006); significant increase mediator observed both HD PD subjects (p=0.002 p=0.007, respectively). resulted decrease (p=0.023) all patients. Subgroup analysis showed (p=0.016) VEGF-R (p=0.005) after therapy. Mean concentrations (p=0.098) (p=0.160) did not differ from subjects.
A positive correlation between receptors studied before (p < 0.0001).
 direct -8 an inverse MCP-1 After treatment, (0.782, p=0.01) (0.770, remained group 1 (0.829, p=0.03) 2.
Conclusion. Increased detected blood patients, them -8. Treatment maintenance balance receptors, which we consider effect for inhibition inflammation dysfunction.

Comparative Analysis of Serum Levels of Aluminum and Lead in Dialysis Patients, Pre and post Dialysis

Background: Accumulation or deficiency of trace elements can occur in hemodialysis patients and it increases risk of cardiovascular or other organs disorders. Special ions levels such as sodium and bicarbonate in dialysis fluid are accurately regulated but the remaining elements are not regularly measured. Aluminum and lead belong to the biologic performance free heavy metals .They also has a t...

s:865:"We read with interest the manuscript entitled "Serum and peritoneal fluid levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in women with endometriosis" recently published in the International Journal of Fertility and Sterility (1). The authors measured the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in serum and peritoneal fluid of 179 women, 90 of whom were diagnosed with endometriosis, an...

Diagnostic Value of Serum Levels of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor as a Marker of Tubal Pregnancy

Background and purpose: Tubal pregnancy is a life threatening condition that not only causes mortality but also reduces fertility by less than 50%. In many patients, the level of βhCG does not reach detection threshold, and for definite diagnosis, long-term follow-up considering βhCG titration and transvaginal ultrasonography are needed which could lead to delay in diagnosis and treatment. The ...

Serum levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease

Background :Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a third leading cause of death.   Methods : In this case control study, we prepared 5 cc bloods from the antecubital vein of 100 COPD patients and 40 healthy individuals as control group. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression protein level was measured by ELISA in both groups.   Results : We found that concentration of...
